There are many restaurants in Zakopane, but only at Gwarno you can find a unique flavours, which secret lies in combining Podhale cuisine with a hint of beer brewed in our own brewery.

To start with, try the traditional highlander’s moskol with smoked trout, sour cream, and aromatic portobello mushrooms.

Continue your culinary adventure with “kwaśnica” broth, full of flavor and aroma, served with smoked ribs and local potatoes. It’s a unique taste of Podhale and a must-try!

Taste a true Zakopane’s tidbit– trout straight from Kuźnice’s mountain stream, smoked in our own smokery. It’s something what you need to try.

Or perhaps you crave a hearty portion of “golonko” – the pork shanks  stewed in the beer from our brewery. Properly prepared and perfectly seasoned. This dish provides culinary delights with every bite.

Overseeing the highest quality of the dishes we serve is Sebastian Krauzowicz, not only a highlander by blood and bone but also a culinary artist – famous polish chef.

Zakopane's local beer

Our brewery is a blend of tradition and the art of brewing with modern technology in the right proportions, ensuring that the beer we serve is a drink created with passion and distinguished by the highest quality.

Our beers are exclusively brewed with natural ingredients. We use water from a mountain stream, carefully selected malts, and the highest quality Polish and American hops in the brewing process. The entire brewing process is carried out under the watchful eye of the professional brewer Małgorzata and brewmaster Jacek.

We are one of the few breweries in Poland to have a hop gun, a mini tank used for cold hopping beers such as APA or IPA.

Try our regional beer, where delicate and refreshing flavors harmonize perfectly with the notes of regional ingredients, creating unique taste experiences.
